KMSB collaborates with Kinabalu Coders, a Sabah-based NGO, to promote STEM education among grassroots communities. Kinabalu Coders focus on providing tech education, maker technologies, and tech empowerment to local communities. By working together, KMSB and Kinabalu Coders aim to foster digital literacy and empower communities with valuable technical skills.

KMSB periodically partners with KSTI to support the development of locally grown technology and businesses in Sabah. This collaboration underscores KMSB's commitment to leveraging its expertise in technology to promote economic growth in Sabah.

KMSB is dedicated to supporting the success of programs and events organized by SCENIC, and has been an active contributor to several events. This partnership underscores KMSB's commitment to promoting the growth of the technology sector in Sabah by supporting initiatives that facilitate knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration.

KMSB is involved in the Digital IoT Sandbox Sabah initiative, the first sandbox of its kind in Sabah and the eighth in Malaysia. Supported by the state government through KSTI, it provides a platform for the growth of Sabah-based tech companies. KMSB contributes its expertise and resources to assist in the development of the sandbox.

KMSB has a collaboration agreement (Document No PKK/CISEC/01/JLD 1 (96)) with Politeknik Kota Kinabalu to advance STEM education. PKK can leverage KMSB's industrial expertise and receive advice from KMSB representatives. KMSB gains access to potential PKK graduates for internships or employment opportunities.
